Allah (S.W.T) said in the Quran
,
“Verily, those who recite the Book of Allah (Quran), establish prayer, and spend from that which We have provided for them, secretly, and openly, hope for a deal in which there will never be any loss. For He (Allah) will give them their reward in full and will give them yet more out of His bounty. Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving, Appreciative.”
(Suratul Fatir: 29-30).
In these verses, Allah mentioned of those who recite the Quran and establish some of the basic obligatory pillars of Islam, Solat and zakat (compulsory alms giving from the wealthy and voluntary charity giving from the poor).
Allah (S.W.T) has affirmed that those who do the actions mentioned above have entered a deal that will never fail.

The mother of the believers, Aisha (peace be upon her) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "
The one who recites the Quran and is skillful therein will be with the obedient, noble, recording angels; and the one who reads the Quran stammering, it being difficult for him, has two rewards."
(Bukhari and Muslim related it).
Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said, "
The likeness of a believer who recites the Quran is like that of a citron: its scent is fragrant and its taste delicious. The likeness of a believer who does not recite the Quran is like that of a date: it has no fragrance, and its taste is delicious. The likeness of a hypocrite who recites the Quran is like a water lily: its scent is fragrant, and its taste is bitter. And the likeness of a hypocrite who does not recite the Quran is like a bitter colocynth: it is scentless, and its taste is bitter." (Bukhari and Muslim related it).
Umar Ibn al-Khattab (RA) stated that the Prophet (SAW) said, "
Allah Most High exalts some groups with this Book and debases others with it.

Abu Umama Al-Bahili (R.A) said,
"I heard the Messenger of Allah (SAW) say, “Recite the Quran, for on the Day of Judgment it will come to intercede for its companion". (Muslim related it).
You will be in the assembly of the noble prophets and angels on the Day of resurrection. Not only that, but also the Quran will intercede for you! If you read and practice it perfectly to the best of your ability.
Abdallah ibn Mas'ud (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (SAW) said,
"Whoever recites one letter from the Book of Allah has one reward, and rewards are [multiplied] by ten of their kind. I do not say that 'Alif Lam Mim' is a [single] letter, rather 'Alif is a letter, lam' is a letter, and 'Mim' is a letter." (Imam al-Tirmidhi related it).
