Maaher Academy is an online Quran and Islamic studies school dedicated to nurturing the next generation of fluent Quran reciters and memorizers. Inspired by our experience living in the West, we recognized the need for a structured and engaging learning environment that helps students build a strong foundation in Quranic recitation, memorization, and Islamic knowledge. Our mission is to make Quran learning accessible, enjoyable, and effective for students of all ages, ensuring they develop fluency while understanding the teachings of Islam.
At Maaher Academy, we offer a range of structured programs, including the Accelerated Quran Reading Program (ALQR) for beginners, intermediate and advanced young children and teenage learners to become fluent Quran reciters in 16 weeks. The Quran Fluency Accelerator Course, a self-paced Arabic letters foundation and tajweed program, for busy adults learners to master Quran reading fluency in 16 weeks or less. Also, the Scribe Quran Memorizers Program (TSQM) is designed for students, who are already fluent in Quran recitation with tajweed, to memorize the Quran with perfect tajweed and revision structure.
Additionally, our Islamic Studies Sessions cover essential topics such as Tawhid, Fiqh, Seerah, Islamic Morals, Duas and Tafsir. Through expert instruction, interactive learning, and a supportive community, we empower students to connect deeply with the Quran and live by its teachings. Accelerated Quran Reading Program
The Accelerated Quran Reading Program (ALQR) is a 16-week structured program tailored to guide learners from the basics of Quran reading to attaining fluency. Designed for beginners, especially young learners with no prior Quran reading skills, this program offers a comprehensive curriculum to ensure a strong foundation in Quranic recitation.
Building the Basics In this foundational level, students will master: Quran letters and their forms, Short vowel sounds (Harakat), Sukun and Qalqalah, and lots more.
With engaging live lessons, practical exercises, and a clear progression path, the ALQR program makes learning accessible, enjoyable, and effective, helping students confidently embark on their Quranic fluency journey.
The Scribe Quran Memorizers Program
The Scribe Quran Memorizers Program is a carefully designed course to support students on their journey of Quran memorization, whether starting from the basics or refining their Hifz. Guided by experienced teachers, the program focuses on accurate memorization, proper Tajweed (pronunciation), and effective revision techniques to ensure long-term retention. We offer both group and one-one classes, depending on the program and the student’s preference. Although for ALQR and TSQM classes one-one session are used has revision classes.
Can I try a program before committing to it?
Yes, we offer trial sessions or introductory classes for certain programs to help students understand the learning process before a full commitment. Although students will be require to pay a refundable commitment fee for the ALQR and TSQM programs for a 7-days trial.
Can I enrol multiple family members at the same time?
Yes, families are welcome to enroll multiple members, and discounts may be available for family registrations.
What if I miss a session, Can I reschedule?
For live sessions, rescheduling options may be available based on the instructor’s schedule and the program. Recorded lessons are also provided for missed sessions in certain programs.
What are the class sizes for your group sessions?
Our group class sizes typically do not exceed 5 students per class to ensure personalized attention. However, students in group classes will be of the same age, level and location.
