This scholarship is offered to children who have the passion and wish to memorize the Quran with sound Tajweed rules but   are disadvantaged due to their geographical location. The scholarship was founded by Dr Hallaq through Maaher Academy Online Quran School to enable Muslim children living in the USA and Canada to memorize Quran and to reduce the courses fees burden on parents who cannot afford it.

Number of Awards: 2-3

Award Value: 960 USD per year for each awardee.

Scholarship Requirements:

1. Age: 7-18 years
2. Country of Residence: USA or Canada
3. Evidence of financial needs
4. At least one year commitment
5. Ability to attend evening and weekend classes

Application Procedure:

1. Interested applicants should apply through Maaher Academy Online Quran School’s website.
2. Click the “Enroll” or “Get Started” button on maaheracademy.org to complete the application form. Include in the “How did you here about us” section of the form your interest in the scholarship program.
3. Selected applicants will be contacted by one of our representatives to discuss your application with you and evaluate your scholarship eligibility.
4. Selected applicants will be notified by email of their admission to the academy and their scholarship offer.
5. Awardees have up to 48 hours to either accept or reject conditions of their scholarship offer.
